Author Guidelines

The Journal of International Electrical Engineering and Technology (JINET) accepts original research articles, review articles, and technical papers in the fields of electrical engineering, renewable energy, intelligent systems, electronics, automation, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, smart technology, embedded systems, and related interdisciplinary engineering fields. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be written in clear and professional English. The recommended length for a research article is between 6,000–8,000 words, while review articles are recommended to be between 8,000–10,000 words. These word counts do not include the title, abstract, keywords, acknowledgments, declarations, and references.

The manuscript should contain a concise and informative title, author names, institutional affiliations, full correspondence addresses, and email addresses for all authors. The corresponding author must be clearly identified. Authors are encouraged to ensure that the manuscript title accurately reflects the content and scientific contribution of the work.

The abstract should be self-contained and written in a single paragraph with a length of approximately 200–250 words. The abstract should briefly present the objectives, methodology, main findings, and conclusions of the study. Authors are also required to provide no more than six relevant keywords representing the core themes of the manuscript.

The main body of the manuscript generally consists of the Introduction, Research Methodology, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion sections. Additional sections such as acknowledgments, appendices, declarations, tables, figure captions, and illustrations may also be included where appropriate. Authors are expected to present their work systematically, scientifically, and clearly to ensure readability and academic quality.

All manuscripts must be prepared using the official JINET manuscript template and formatted on A4 paper size with one-inch margins. Manuscripts should use consistent font styles, spacing, and formatting throughout the paper. The International System of Units (SI Units) must be used consistently. Microsoft Word (.docx) is the preferred file format for manuscript preparation and submission.

Figures, illustrations, charts, diagrams, and tables should be clearly presented, properly numbered, and accompanied by informative captions. All graphical materials must have sufficient resolution quality for publication. Tables should be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals and should not duplicate information already presented in figures or the main text. Notes and references within tables should be properly indicated using superscript letters where necessary.

JINET adopts the IEEE reference style. References should be numbered sequentially according to their appearance in the manuscript. Authors are strongly encouraged to use recent and relevant references from reputable international journals indexed by Scopus or Web of Science. The use of reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote is highly recommended to ensure citation consistency and accuracy.

Journal article references generally consist of the author names, article title, journal name, volume, publication year, page numbers, and DOI. Book references should include author names, book title, publisher, publication year, and DOI where available. Conference proceeding references should include the conference name, year, page numbers, and DOI. References obtained from websites should include the URL and publication year. Authors are responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all references included in the manuscript.

For manuscripts involving multiple authors, the corresponding author is required to provide a CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) Author Statement describing the contribution of each co-author. The CRediT taxonomy includes roles such as conceptualization, methodology, software, investigation, validation, visualization, supervision, writing – original draft, and writing – review & editing. Authors who contributed to the research but do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately in the acknowledgment section.

Authors must also include a Declaration of Competing Interests within the manuscript. If no conflicts of interest exist, authors should state: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.” If conflicts exist, all financial and non-financial relationships relevant to the work must be disclosed transparently. Authors are also required to provide complete funding information, including the role of funding agencies in the research and publication process.

The journal strictly upholds publication ethics and academic integrity. Plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication, data falsification, citation manipulation, and unethical publication practices are strictly prohibited. All manuscripts may undergo plagiarism screening before entering the peer review process.

Every manuscript submitted to JINET undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript topic. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. Based on reviewer recommendations and editorial evaluation, manuscripts may be accepted, returned for revision, or rejected.

Authors are required to revise manuscripts according to reviewer and editor comments within the specified revision period. Revised manuscripts may undergo additional review rounds before final publication approval is granted. The final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief.

Authors are strongly encouraged to download and use the official JINET manuscript template before preparing submissions. The template can be accessed through the following link:
